About Owensville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Owensville is a charming Midwestern town in Indiana, not far from Evansville. Owensville was established in 1817 and incorporated nearly 7 decades later in 1881.  In between those dates there was a fire which burnt down many of the original buildings in town.  However, the town and the entire region manage to retain an incredibly rich history and culture that can be seen at every turn.  It is an amazing area for a history buff.  It also happens to be the perfect place for those who love seasonal weather and to watch the seasons change. If you like sunshine in the summer, snow in the winter, friendly neighbors and an all-American ambience, then look no further than Owensville.

A local joke is that every season is a combination of three as the weather tends to be a bit unpredictable.  But, the landscapes are consistently stunning and the atmosphere is always peaceful and pastoral.  There is something very special about this town and what it has to offer.  Every summer, people come from all over the area for the Watermelon Fest to hang out in town and spend time with some of the friendliest people in the world.  Anyone in Indiana can tell you that Owensville is a great place to live, work and play.

Are you and your family outdoorsy types? Well, you won’t regret your visit to the town. Nearby, you will find The Wabash River, which is a local attraction for water play and fun.  But, if you check it out in the Fall you can enjoy it framed by the beauty of the autumn leaves. Summers are just right for swimming, water skiing, boating and hiking around the river, and at local parks and rec facilities. The former home of George Washington, Mount Vernon Estate, is also in the area in – you guessed it - Mount Vernon, Indiana.  The plantation was maintained by his family for generations and was sooner or later left to George. At that time he finished an expansion of the plantation which his great grandfather had initiated.  In short, in and around Owensville, there is always something fun to do.
